The Chloé Piano Trio presents the first edition of the Chloé Festival 2023: three exciting events of classical chamber music, poetry & talks centred around women composers & artists that take place at St. Alfege Church (22nd of June) & The Forum at Greenwich (23rd & 24th of June).

Festival programme

22nd June, 19:30 – Beyond the Shadow

Researcher and pianist Laura Casas Cambra will talk about female artists in the shadows of their husbands or teachers and the Chloé Piano Trio performs works by Clara & Robert Schumann, Henriette Bosmans & Lili Boulanger.

23rd June, 19:30 – Growth & Rebirth

Soprano Charlotte Hoather will perform songs with the trio interwoven with poetry by and about female artists. Songs include works by Alma Mahler, Florence Price and Tania León followed by the Chloé Piano Trio performing works by Mélanie Bonis and Kelly-Marie Murphy.

24th June, 19:30 – Sparks for the Future

Composer and singer-songwriter Hayat Selim will join the trio and there will be a Q&A session, to finish the concert young musicians from the St. Mary Magdalene School will share the stage with the Chloé Piano Trio.
